How it works. When combined with hydrogen peroxide and washing soda, baking soda helps form a gentle oxygen bleach action, lifting stains, brightening whites, and deodorising naturally. Washing soda and peroxide are the core cleaner, while baking soda adds gentle scrubbing to remove grime and neutralise odours. Safe for most fabrics when used as directed, and kind to your skin, home, and waterways.

Multipurpose: perfect for soaking, enhancing laundry, or applying directly to stubborn spots.
As a dry powder:
Sprinkle 1 to 2 tablespoons directly onto a rinsed, damp stain.
Let it sit for 30 minutes up to 2 hours, or longer on stubborn marks.
Gently rub it in, then wash as usual.
As a paste:
Mix equal parts powder and warm water to form a thick paste.
Apply to the stain and leave for 30 minutes to overnight, no more than 12 hours.
Wash as usual.
As a wash cycle booster: add between 2 tablespoons and ¼ cup directly into your washing machine to boost cleaning performance, brighten fabrics, and refresh clothing.
Pro tip. Mix this recipe fresh when you need it. Pre mixed paste loses its potency over time, and liquid versions can clog or fizz a reused spray bottle.
