Natural Cleaning Workshop | Simple, Safe Cleaning for Everyday Homes

All ages are welcome. Children aged 5–18 can attend free (one child per adult).

Join Michelle from Your Home, Naturally for a practical, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to clean your home using simple, traditional ingredients. These are time-tested methods that support a safer home, a lighter environmental footprint, and everyday wellbeing for your whānau.

This workshop is not about complicated routines or expensive products. It’s about returning to what is gentle, effective, and sensible — the way homes have been cared for for generations.

What You’ll Learn and Take Home

You’ll make and take home:

  • Natural Cleaning Spray

  • Natural Cleaning Paste

  • Natural Window Cleaner

  • A reusable natural spray bottle

  • Printed recipes to use again at home

Gentle, Effective Ingredients

You’ll discover how a small number of natural ingredients can clean an entire home, including:

  • Cleaning Grade Baking Soda

  • Cleaning Grade Vinegar 9.9%

  • Castile Cleaning Soap

  • Essential oils

These simple ingredients work because of their natural pH balance, not harsh chemicals.

Why Choose Natural Cleaning?

Making your own natural cleaners helps you:

  • Reduce waste and unnecessary packaging

  • Save money with simple, multipurpose ingredients

  • Avoid exposure to harsh, synthetic chemicals

The change doesn’t need to be overwhelming. Small, steady steps lead to lasting, meaningful results.

What to Bring (If You Can)

To help reduce waste, please bring:

  • A clean, wide-rim glass jar with lid (such as a gherkin jar) or an 800g yoghurt container — for the Natural Cleaning Paste

  • An empty spray bottle (for example, a used cleaner bottle) or a glass jar with lid — for the Natural Window Cleaner

  • Optional: a reusable bag to carry your products home
