Why do I choose natural cleaning products over conventional cleaning products?

I've been using natural cleaning products in my own home for over 20 years. When I started my eco-friendly cleaning business nearly five years ago, it was important to me that the products I used reflected my values. I wanted products that were safe for my clients, their families, their pets, and the environment, without compromising on cleaning performance. And to avoid the toxin filled supermarket products.

Initially, I purchased natural cleaning products online, but I wasn't completely satisfied with either their effectiveness or the cost & I wasn't entirely sure where to purchase bulk products to make my own products. Then I met Michelle from Your Home Naturally at the Seaside Market and was thrilled to discover her range of products. They were exactly what I had been searching for and have become the foundation of the cleaning products I make and use in my business today, especially after attending her Natural Cleaning Workshop. Where I learned how to make my own natural cleaning products to use in both my home and business.

What would I say to another cleaner thinking about making the switch?

Make the switch! You won't look back. There is a common misconception that natural cleaning products aren't as effective as conventional cleaners, but that simply hasn't been my experience. With quality ingredients and the right knowledge, natural cleaning products can achieve excellent results while avoiding many of the harsh chemicals found in commercial cleaners.

It's also a wonderful feeling knowing that the products you're using are safer for both your clients and yourself, especially when you're working with them every day.

What results do my clients notice?

The first thing many clients notice is the fresh, clean smell. Their homes smell clean without the overpowering artificial fragrances that are often associated with conventional products.

They also notice the quality of the clean. Surfaces are left sparkling, bathrooms and kitchens are thoroughly cleaned, and there is no sticky residue or chemical smell left behind.

Most importantly, my clients appreciate knowing that the products being used in their homes are kinder to their families, pets, and the environment. Many people are becoming more conscious of what they're bringing into their homes and they value having a cleaner who shares those same priorities.

What cleaning products do I use most often?

Honestly, I use all of Michelle's products regularly in my business, but my absolute go-to products are the Natural Cleaning Spray and the Natural Cleaning Paste. They are incredibly versatile, effective, and handle the majority of cleaning tasks I encounter in clients' homes.

I also like being able to clean toilets naturally. I use a combination of Baking Soda, Tea Tree Oil, and Cleaning Grade Vinegar 9.9%, which works brilliantly without the need for harsh chemicals. It's effective, fresh smelling and gives both me and my clients peace of mind knowing we are avoiding unnecessary toxins in the home.

The glass cleaner is so effective and it still amazes me how a three ingredient glass cleaner works so well.

One of the things I appreciate most is that I can confidently use these products throughout an entire home, knowing they are safer for families, pets, and the environment while still delivering excellent cleaning results.
